Food is the foundation of our well-being. In the intimate process of eating, we bring food into our bodies and it becomes part of us. It influences how we feel and think, and what we are physically capable of. The food we eat even turns genes off and on, deciding if we will have high cholesterol, arthritis, or even how quickly we heal.
