Success Stories
The Ngo family
We heard about Ruth through a co-worker who has a son that had suffered from an athletic injury.
Our son is a pitcher.
At the beginning of his junior year of high school, he suffered a complete tear of his UCL in his pitching arm and had Tommy John surgery to repair it.
Not only were the injury, the surgery and the recovery/rehabilitation physically painful for him, it was also very mentally tough.
He went from playing/practicing baseball 7 days a week to zero.
On top of that, this was during the Covid lockdowns, so there was very little interaction with teammates and friends.
It was a lot for a very social 17 year old to handle.
As he continued with his rehab, he was on the fence about whether to continue playing baseball or just give up the sport he had loved to play since he was 4 years old.
We decided to make an appointment with Ruth.
Ruth has such a calming presence. Not only was she able to physically get his body back into alignment through massages, stretching exercises, breathing exercises and hiking she was also able to break through his negative attitude and get him talking about everything bothering him in his life.
His mood changed and stress levels seems to lower. After his visits with Ruth, he seemed to have more of an appreciation for us as his parents and for his coaches and teachers.
Ruth helped him find a new love for the game.
He decided to play baseball his senior year of high school and had a great season.
He is back and better then where he was before the injury and he is still getting stronger everyday.
He graduated high school this past spring and has recently signed to play baseball at a junior college here in New Mexico this fall.
